A wooden cross on the beach at Ocean Grove, New Jersey.

The town was formed In July 1869, after a group of friends spent a few weeks of rest, "camping" on the banks of The Long Pond, now known as Wesley Lake. They held a religious service in a tent, which led to two decisions: the group dedicated themselves to creating a religious association and establish a permanent camp meeting summer haven. In the winter of 1869, the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association was formed.

Ocean Grove is a small beach town on the Jersey Shore, it is lined with beautiful Victorian architectural houses and hotels. Located between Asbury Park and Bradley Beach.
